The name Oohology hasn’t been around long enough to have a history.
The team that makes up Oohology? That’s a whole other story.
Here’s how we evolved over the last seven years from a small web development shop to the full-service digital marketing agency we are today.
We began (and still operate) as Makespace, a creative web design company started in 2006.
Founded by Mark Palmerand Rob Miles, as makespace we grew quickly by building a rep for creating beautiful web sites that also ranked well in search and converted website visitors to customers.
After years of being disappointed in failures from hosting, domain and other technology vendors, we brought in our own team of technology solution specialists. We invested in our own custom-crafted solutions for Content Management Systems, eCommerce shopping carts, and web analytics, in addition to our proficiency with the most popular open-source web software like WordPress, Joomla, and Magento.
Spiiider is a web technology solutions company. Spiiider was created to offer reliable, secure hosting, domain, analytics and related technical solutions & support exclusively to Makespace clients.
After five years, many of our previous clients had realized that the web was their most cost-effective, trackable marketing channel. They wanted to work with us as they began more aggressively using internet marketing, because we’d proven ourselves as a reliable partner in building their websites. So once again, we sought out experienced and talented internet marketing experts to grow our service offering. The result is Oohology.
Oohology is a digital marketing agency whose expert specialists devise & execute internet marketing strategies that are on-brand, agile and effective. Unlike other digital marketing agencies, our relationship with Spiiider and Makespace means we have access to all the resources we need to effectively get the best results for our clients, with no excuses and no roadblocks from a creative or technical standpoint.
Our business partnership with Makespace and Spiiider means there is no finger pointing when things get tricky–just teamwork, a shared sense of accountability and an urgent desire to work together to get the job done.
