Aptis Medical needed a patient education center and a resource for physicians.

We created engineer-perfect 3D renderings of the device, and a rich web resource to connect patients with physicians and each other.
Aptis Medical supplies a unique artificial wrist replacement joint, designed by the Louisville doctor who pioneered the procedure that uses it. For some wrist injury patients, this procedure and equipment is the only option to restore mobility and function. Aptis Medical needed a website to function not only as a patient education center, but also as a resource for physicians performing the procedure.
Unlike many clients, Aptis came to us with a wealth of content, including video assets. Our main objective was organizing that content into a logical user experience and information architecture. Additionally, we were able to create engineer-perfect 3D renderings of the device, to help more clearly articulate its benefits and advantages. Our programmers developed a physicians directory so interested patients could find someone nearby qualified to perform the procedure. We also added a patient forum to the site, so patients who’d had the procedure could share their experiences.
