Southland Metals is an international casting and machining provider. They don’t just take your plans and roll with it. They’ll make recommendations, find alternative options, and even recommend which region will be the most cost effective for your company. They’ve been doing this for three decades.
Southland Metal’s Challenge
The company’s branding, marketing and website was lacking significantly. Their image wasn’t global—it felt very limited to the United States. Their website didn’t explain the depth of their knowledge very well, and made no mention of their strong relationships with other sourcing options. Despite the lack of strong branding and marketing presence, the company had grown steadily over the last 30 years. But they realized the opportunity to garner new business started with the brand.
We went to work on building a brand that felt as bold and global as Southland Metals actually is, and we followed up with a website to match. From our work on the branding, we learned that Southland Metals’ process was very unique. When it came time to build the website, we decided to showcase the organization’s hands-on and personal approach with an interactive infographic. With custom designs and animations along the way, it does a great job of telling the Southland Metals story.
